Greendale has an allergy management programme utilising techniques, which have been used in more than 250,000 dogs, cats and equine since 1985. Our programme uses a company with ongoing commitment to research, development and quality control.

Single allergen test panels and rigorous quality control measures maximize assay specificity.
Advantages over other allergy tests:
- Increased number of allergens tested
- Adheres to guidelines suggesting mould,mite and insect extracts should not be mixed with pollens
- Separate formulations for small dogs and cats, large dogs and horses
- No need to withdraw steroids prior to testing
- No Aluminium hydroxide adjuvant added to treatment sets

Allergy Testing and Immunotherapy

Atopic dermatitis and other allergy-related diseases can be among the most difficult and at times frustrating problems seen in veterinary medicine. Some studies suggest that atopy occurs in about 10% of the canine population making it the second most common hypersensitivity disorder after Flea Allergic Dermatitis FAD.
